"The main propeller doesn't have a motor attached to it. The plane flies flat and the two propellers on the wings turn it. I can't even get this thing to operate correctly on the kitchen floor, no way I'm going to try and fly it."

VOLANTEXRC PNP version rc plane Ranger400, only comes with a plane, without transmitter, battery and charger.
IMPORTANT
Just for your information, Ranger 400 doesn't have expert mode/ manual mode.
All the three modes will have gyro stabilization on. Once the transmitter is turned on, the plane's control surfaces will not back to position (centered).
However, when you fly it in the air, it will react normally. Please check the control surfaces when the transmitter is power off.
When you take off it, please take off with FULL throttle, throw it up in the air and against the wind.
Just follow these steps and you will be able to fly it successfully.

"This is a really tough little plane! My husband has crashed it pretty hard several times and it just keeps going. It has been a great learning plane for someone who is just getting in to RC airplanes."

"I was completely blown away by how well this little plane flies. But then after flying it a couple times, I realized that it wasn't the fact that it was flying so well under my control. It was the fact that it was correcting all my mistakes by itself and not crashing. I mistakenly turned off the beginner mode and quickly realized I need a lot more practice because I sent it into a death spiral and broke the propeller. But that's also when I realized that it was better to break the propeller than to bend the motor shaft. So a flimsy propeller actually is a good thing because as a new flyer am going to break a lot of propellers from mistakes. But that's the point I guess crash this plane which is nice and light and doesn't do any damage yet. And then when I'm ready get a bigger heavier plane that will do damage if I crash it. PS buy the extra propellers because in learning how to fly they are going to break and if they don't then you are an excellent pilot."
